First Stop..

Welcome to Bandera, Tx, also known as "the Cowboy capital of the world" . This is the type of town that ,while driving downtown, you will see "cowboys" riding horses next to the main street. Filled with tourists and sometimes motorcycles during one of the ROT rallies, this blog is dedicated to the "bars" that you fill find in this town. Although Bandera being very very small, there is a total of 9+ bars/pubs located in this tiny town.
One comes to mind while visiting, located "downtown" Bandera is a live music/dance hall known as 11th St Cowboy bar also known as the "Biggest Little Bar in Texas"
Bras hanging from the ceiling , Beer and Wine, and filled with Cowboys and Bikers, I found it to be truly entertaining .Live Music most weekends also.

To top it off, located inside, there is a wonderful little shop called "Harleys and Horses" wonderful place to pick up some momentos.
I'd would recommend this place to anyone visiting Bandera. Im whats known as the "rocker" chick and had a blast the whole time i was there! :)

Hello :)

We all love to travel, I mean WHO DOESNT? Well, there are many places we all have driven through and pass on through like there isnt more than the tiny gas station on the right.
I've lived in the hill country my whole life and know there is "more out there" than the eye can see. I've explored many of the tiny little towns and decided to share the "hip" spots to see.
I will add to this blog everytime i go someplace new.. but first on to the places i've already seen.
Hill Country and surrounding areas..
From the best places to eat, drink, and shop, I will do my best to find the hip and happening spots from Austin,San Antonio, etc.
Also local bands, local eats, and local shops will be visited and given the best reviews possible.
Remember this is from a 30+ old point of view , but im also a kid at heart so I go pretty much everywhere.  :)
